CHRISTINA CHATZIDEVE
ABOUT
Christina Chatzideve is a Greek - Dutch artist
born in Heraklion Crete (GR).
In her work she uses a number of media, including painting, drawing, collages and monotypes.
She has studied Painting, at Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) in The Netherlands and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons).
Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Greece, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy.
Since 2017 she teaches art and design at the Technical Institute of Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Crete.
She lives and works in Greece and The Netherlands.
Η Χριστίνα Χατζηντεβέ γεννήθηκε στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης και έχει την Ελληνική και Ολλανδική υπηκοότητα.
Είναι κάτοχος Bachelor of Arts (Hons) του Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) της Ολλανδίας.
Εχει εκθέσει σε ομαδικές και ατομικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, στην Ιταλία, στην Γερμανία, στην Ολλανδία και στην Γαλλία.
Από το 2017 είναι εισηγήτρια Art & Design σεμιναρίων και διδάσκει ελεύθερο σχέδιο και ζωγραφική στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης .
Ζεί και εργάζεται στην Ελλάδα και στην Ολλανδία.
"Influenced by different cultures, due to her dual origins, from Greece and the Netherlands, Chatzideve constantly enriches her means of expression.
The new demands arising from the ideological and aesthetic pulp of the convergence of different cultural traditions in her work, highlight "antinomies and couplings" that are obviously not limited to the framework of aesthetic choices, but have a clear existential and philosophical background''.
